Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 JEEP CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS AND ATTEMPTING TO MAKE A TURN THE STEERING WHEEL CEASED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TURNED OFF AND BACK ON AND THE VEHICLE OPERATED AS INTENDED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO LITHIA CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM FIAT OF SANTA ROSA LOCATED AT (2727 DOWD DR, SANTA ROSA, CA 95407) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE BUT OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 29,000.*DT*DT CONSUMER STATED WHEN THE IGNITION IS TURNED OFF, VEHICLE IS STARTED THE STEERING PROBLEM GOES AWAY. PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED 5 TIMES.*JB*JB
