Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 TOYOTA TACOMA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE IN FOR INSPECTION IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE SUB FRAME OF THE VEHICLE HAD SUSTAINED SEVERE RUSTING AND CORROSION. THE VEHICLE WAS DEEMED UNSAFE TO DRIVE AND FAILED THE STATE INSPECTION. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE BUT NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 150,000.
