Consumer Description

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION DOES NOT SHIFT. WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE HESITATED BETWEEN GEARS AND EVENTUALLY WENT INTO A NEUTRAL STATE WHILE DRIVING AT 40 MPH. VERY CLOSE TO AN ACCIDENT. THERE ARE MULTIPLE REPORTS OF THIS ISSUE AND ALREADY HAVE RECALLS AGAINST CERTAIN VIN BUT SHOULD BE FOR ALL VIN'S. HYBRID SYSTEM ERROR DISPLAYED ALONG WITH SHIFT SELECTOR BLINKING FROM DRIVE TO A WRENCH. CALLED VW CUSTOMER CARE AND THEY ABRUPTLY INTERRUPTED ME AND STATED THEY WILL NOT ADDRESS THIS. VERY SUSPICIOUS.
