Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 LEXUS LS460. THE CONTACT STATED A STRONG ODOR OF FUEL EMITTED THROUGH THE VEHICLE VENT INTO THE CABIN. THE CONTACT BECAME AWARE OF THE ODOR WHEN ATTEMPTED TO DRIVE OR WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS IN IDLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALERSHIP WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 158,000.*LN*JB
