Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 TOYOTA TUNDRA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS SIGNIFICANT RUST ACCUMULATION ON THE FRAME OF THE VEHICLE. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC DISCOVERED THE RUST UPON INSPECTING THE VEHICLE AND WARNED THE CONTACT THAT IT COULD LEAD TO A POTENTIAL SAFETY DEFECT. THE CONTACT SPOKE WITH WAITE TOYOTA (18406 US-11, WATERTOWN, NY 13601) AND THE MANUFACTURER AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 120,000.
