Consumer Description

WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A STOP OR SLOW MOTION, THE CAR SOUNDS LIKE IT IS ACCELERATING BUT IT DOES NOT MOVE. YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE IN NEUTRAL. I HAD PULLED OUT FROM A STOP SIGN, WITH PLENTY OF TIME TO MAKE THE RIGHT TURN, AS TRAFFIC WAS BACK A DISTANCE. I PULLED OUT ONTO THE MAIN STREET AND DID NOT CONTINUE MOVING ALTHOUGH I WAS PRESSING ON THE ACCELERATOR, BUT THE CAR RPM'S WERE GOING UP, NO SPEED FROM MY VEHICLE. BY THE TIME I LET OFF THE ACCELERATOR AND LET THE CAR RPM'S RECOVER, THE MOTORCYCLE WAS COMING RIGHT UP BEHIND ME. HE WAS ASSUMING I WOULD BE MOVING, BUT HE HAD TO SWERVE TO MISS HITTING MY CAR. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND IT IS VERY UNPREDICTABLE. BOTH MY GROWN KIDS HAVE DRIVEN THE CAR AND HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME THING. I HAVE BEEN TO A DEALERSHIP 3 TIMES REGARDING THIS AND THEY JUST STATED IT IS THE DCT.
