Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING 80 MPH, THE VEHICLE DOWNSHIFTED ON ITS OWN WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE AND THEN TO LUTHER FAMILY FORD (LOCATED AT 3302 36TH ST S, FARGO, ND 58104, (701) 282-2350) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT UNKNOWN ENGINE COMPONENTS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V075000 (POWER TRAIN). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE RECALL REPAIR WAS COMPLETED IN JUNE OF 2019. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED FOR THE RECENT FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE MANUFACTURER ABOUT THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 128,073.
