Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 DODGE JOURNEY. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE VEHICLE STARTED TO SHAKE AND THE SPEED DECREASED. THE CONTACT PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS TURNED OFF AND RESTARTED, THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO CONTINUE DRIVING TO HER DESTINATION. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DETERMINED THAT THE FAILURE WAS TRANSMISSION RELATED AND A NEW ONE WAS NEEDED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 88,000.
