TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE JOURNEY. WHILE STARTING THE VEHICLE, THE STEERING HOSE BURST WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A REPAIR SHOP WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING HOSE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED ON 11/20/19. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE DEALER WAS CONTACTED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS SIMILAR TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V373000 (STEERING). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 121,988. *DT*JB
