Consumer Description
VEHICLE GEAR SHIFTER SHOWS VEHICLE IS IN PARK, BUT THE DASH LIGHT FOR NEUTRAL IS ILLUMINATED. VEHICLE STATES TRANSMISSION IS NOT IN PARK WHEN IGNITION IS TURNED OFF AND VEHICLE ROLLS. FORD MOTOR COMPANY CHOSE A RECALL ON 2016 FORD FUSION WITH A 6-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION WHICH IS THE VEHICLE I OWN. WHEN ENTERED VIN NUMBER INTO SYSTEM IT SHOWS NO RECALL. BUT RECALL NUMBER 18S20 SHOWS IT IS VALID ON MY VEHICLE EVEN THOUGH IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE AND THEY WILL NOT COVER THE REPAIRS . VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY IN MY DRIVEWAY WHEN THIS HAPPENED.
