TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 BMW 328I. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ENGINE MADE AN ABNORMAL RATTLING NOISE AND WAS RUNNING ROUGHLY. IN ADDITION, THE SERVICE ENGINE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS SIMILAR TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V176000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 85,000.
