Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE DECELERATED WHILE DRIVING WITHOUT WARNING. ON ANOTHER OCCASION, WHEN THE CONTACT ENTERED THE VEHICLE AND SHIFTED OUT OF PARK, THE VEHICLE LUNGED FORWARD. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT SOMETIMES, WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED, THE "CAR IN PARK" AND "TRUCK NOT IN P GO TO GEAR" MESSAGES APPEARED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO MAC HAIK CHRYSLER (12111 KATY FWY, HOUSTON, TX 77079, (832) 430-6816), BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE CONTACT RETURNED THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 13,580.
