TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 HONDA CIVIC. UPON TAKING THE VEHICLE TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE ENGINE WAS LEAKING FREON. THE CONTACT INFORMED ATLANTIC HONDA (1375 SUNRISE HWY, BAY SHORE, NY 11706, (631) 665-0005) OF THE DEFECT AND WAS INFORMED THAT HE WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE CONTACT ALSO NOTIFIED THE MANUFACTURER AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT UNDER WARRANTY; THEREFORE, THE CONTACT WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPAIR COSTS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 25,000.
