Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 GMC TERRAIN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH, IN INCLEMENT WEATHER, WITHOUT WARNING THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS BECAME INOPERABLE WHICH CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO CRASH INTO A GUARD RAIL. THERE WAS NO INJURIES. THERE WAS NO POLICE REPORT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE WINDSHIELD WIPER TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. NEITHER THE DEALER NOR THE MANUFACTURER WERE CONTACTED OR MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 115,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. PIIR= Y. AH
