Consumer Description

WHILE ACCELERATING, THE TRANSMISSION WOULD SLIP. THIS WOULD CAUSE THE CAR TO LOSE POWER WHILE THE GEAR SLIPPED, THEN THE GEAR WOULD CATCH AND THE CAR WOULD SURGE FORWARD. THE DEALER COULD NOT FIND AN ISSUE AND GAVE THE CAR BACK TO ME. THE PROBLEM RETURNED, SO I HAD THE CAR TOWED BACK TO THE DEALER. THE DEALER REPLACED THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION AND THE ISSUE RESOLVED. THE REPLACED TRANSMISSION BEGAN TO EXHIBIT THE SAME BEHAVIOR APPROXIMATELY 35,000 MILES LATER.
