Consumer Description
WE WERE OUT SHOPPING FOR MY SON A CAR AND HAD STOPPED AT A DEALERSHIP LEFT THE CAR RUNNING OUT IT IN PARK ONCE WE TRIED TO PUT IT IN DRIVE THE CAR WOULD NOT GO INTO GEAR ON MAY 25TH. HAD IT TOWED TO THE DEALER WE PURCHASED IT FROM ( A CHEVY DEALER) BECAUSE WE HAVE A LIFETIME POWER TRAIN WARRANTY. THE FOLLOWING DAY WE CHECKED OUR MAIL AND THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE TRANSMISSION CABLE V34. THE CHEVY DEALER WOULD NOT FIX THE PROBLEM CAUSE THE PART IS UNAVAILABLE SO WE HAD TO PAY AGAIN FOR A TOW TO A DODGE DEALER FOR A TEMPORARY FIX!!! WE LIVE IN A RURAL AREA MY DAUGHTER NEEDS TRANSPORTATION TO COLLEGE BUT YET THE DODGE MANUFACTURER WILL PROVIDE US WITH A RENTAL UNTIL OUR CAR IS FIXED! THE CAR IS NOT DRIVABLE THE DEALER WILL KIT HAVE THE TEMPORARY PART FOR 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS!!! I HAVE REACHED OUT TO OTHER NON DODGE DEALERS AND THEY HAVE STATED THAT IF IT WERE THEIR VEHICLE THEY WOULD PROVIDE THEIR CUSTOMERS WITH A RENTAL UNTIL THE CAR WAS REPAIRED THE GM DEALER STATED THAT. I'M ASSUMING THEY APPRECIATE THEIR CUSTOMERS THEREFORE I OR ANY FAMILY MEMBERS WILL BE BUYING A JEEP DODGE ETC PRODUCT AGAIN!! AND I WILL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO LET OTHERS KNOW OF THE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE PROVIDED!! WE ARE LIVE PAYCHECK TO PAYCHECK LIKE MOST AMERICANS AND CAN'T AFFORD A HARD SHIP LIKE THIS , WE ALSO HAVE TO PAY FOR BOTH TOW BILLS AND THE TEMPORARY FIX UNTIL YOUR COMPANY RELEASES A RELIABLE PART WHICH STATES COULD BE THE END OF AUGUST AND THAT'S WHEN I'LL BE REIMBURSED!!! I KNOW THOSE OF YOU MAKING THE DECISIONS WILL LAUGH AT A PERSON LIKE ME AND MY FAMILY THINKING THIS IS SILLY BUT THIS IS TRULY A HARDSHIP ON US AND YOU COULDN'T POSSIBLY UNDERSTAND THE STRESS AND FINANCIAL STRAIN IT HAS CAUSED!!!
