TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD FUSION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE INTERIOR DOOR HANDLE FAILED TO OPEN THE DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC REPAIRED THE DOOR HANDLE. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 96,000. *BF CONSUMER STATED DOOR LATCH ASSEMBLY BROKE. UNABLE TO EXIT VEHICLE FROM THE INSIDE. IF I HAD BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO EXIT MY VEHICLE IN THE CASE OF AN EMERGENCY OR MY OR ANY OF MY PASSENGERS.*JB
