ENGINE WAS MAKING INCREASED NOISE AND LOSS OF GAS MILEAGE. DEALER ASSURED VEHICLE CHECKED OUT OK. LESS THAN 2,000 MILES LATER AT 101,000 ENGINE 'THREW A ROD' WHILE BEING DRIVEN ON NEIGHBORHOOD ROADS. HYUNDAI REFUSES TO COVER RECONDITIONED ENGINE REPLACEMENT. OFFERED LESS THAN HALF OF COST.
