Consumer Description

POWER STEERING MOTOR BOLTS CORRODED AND BROKE AT 65,000 MILES. THE MECHANIC INFORMED ME OF A PREVIOUS FORD RECALL BEING SAFETY RECALL 15S14. HOWEVER, THIS RECALL ONLY EXTENDED UNTIL MARCH 13TH, 2015, WHEREAS MY CAR WAS MANUFACTURED ON MARCH 24TH, 2015. BASED ON THIS TECHNICALITY FORD REFUSED TO COVER MY VEHICLE'S NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION AND I NEARLY LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. HAD THIS HAPPENED ON THE THRUWAY IT IS VERY LIKELY I WOULD HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN A SERIOUS ACCIDENT. THERE IS AN ATTACHED INVOICE ATTACHED FOR THE DETAILS OF THE REPAIR, THE COST OF THE REPAIR TOTALED $1,878.53.
