TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 BMW 328I. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT IMMEDIATELY ACCELERATE AND SPUTTERED WHEN DEPRESSING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, SMOKE WAS PRESENT INSIDE THE CABIN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO CLASSIC BMW (2571 SOM CENTER RD, WILLOUGHBY HILLS, OH), BUT THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000.
