TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 DODGE JOURNEY. WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE ACCELERATED ON ITS OWN. ALSO, WHEN THE CRUISE CONTROL WAS ENGAGED, IT WOULD SEIZE AND FAIL TO DEACTIVATE. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SCOTT EVANS CHRYSLER, DODGE, JEEP, RAM (2280 BANKHEAD HWY, CARROLLTON, GA 30116, (770) 834-5050), BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE REMEDY WOULD NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL NEXT MONTH. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 38,123.
