TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 HYUNDAI SANTA FE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL TAPPING SOUND COMING FROM THE ENGINE. THE SOUND MADE IT DIFFICULT FOR THE DRIVER TO CONCENTRATE ON THE ROAD. ALSO, THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO FRED BEANS HYUNDAI (1106 E LINCOLN HWY, LANGHORNE, PA 19047), BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 143,000.
