Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 RAM 1500. WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE FUEL GAUGE WENT FROM FULL TO EMPTY. IN ADDITION, THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND ALL THE ELECTRICAL FEATURES SHUT DOWN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BROWN MOTORS OF GREENFIELD (399 FEDERAL ST, GREENFIELD, MA 01301) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT EITHER THE FUEL SENSOR OR THE SENDING UNIT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 57,897.
