TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD ESCAPE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH, THE POWER STEERING SUDDENLY MALFUNCTIONED AND THE STEERING WHEEL SEIZED, WHICH CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO DRIVE ONTO A CURB. THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED AND THE FAILURE WAS CORRECTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO PLEASANTVILLE FORD (47 PLEASANTVILLE RD, PLEASANTVILLE, NY) TO BE DIAGNOSED, BUT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. NO REPAIRS WERE PERFORMED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 165,000.
