Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 HONDA CIVIC. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO BE RESTARTED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED INTERMITTENTLY AND COULD POTENTIALLY RESULT IN A CRASH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BIG ISLAND HONDA HILO (75-5608 KUAKINI HWY, KAILUA-KONA, HI 96720, 1-(808) 961-5505) TO BE DIAGNOSED AND TEST DRIVEN, BUT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. THE CONTACT PLANNED TO TAKE THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALER FOR FURTHER DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 4,000. *BF *JB
