Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD FUSION. WHEN THE CONTACT'S WIFE PLACED THE VEHICLE INTO REVERSE AND DEPRESSED THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, THE VEHICLE SEIZED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SOUTHWEST FORD (4001 INTERSTATE HWY 30, GREENVILLE, TX 75402, 903-455-7222) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE SHIFTER CABLE FRACTURED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE EXHIBITED THE SAME SYMPTOMS AS LISTED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V471000 (POWER TRAIN). THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 105,000. *TT*JB
