Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE JOURNEY. WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE, THE HORN RANDOMLY SOUNDED. THE FAILURE ALSO OCCURRED WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS SHUT OFF AND THE KEY WAS REMOVED FROM THE IGNITION SWITCH. IN ADDITION, WHILE DRIVING, THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG INDICATOR REMAINED ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURES WERE NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE LOCAL DEALER (DUNES AUTO, 2502 LOCUST STREET, STERLING, IL) WAS NOTIFIED, BUT NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000.
