TL* THE CONTACT LEASES A 2016 RAM 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V486000 (LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES) EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR REPAIR. THE CONTACT RECEIVED THE RECALL NOTIFICATION ON SEPTEMBER 27, 2017. THE CONTACT SPOKE WITH DODGE, CHRYSLER, JEEP CITY (4395 US-130 BURLINGTON, NEW JERSEY 08016, (609-871-2800) NUMEROUS TIMES ABOUT PART AVAILABILITY. THE DEALER SCHEDULED A REPAIR APPOINTMENT; HOWEVER, WHEN THE CONTACT ARRIVED, THE DEALER STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER DID NOT SEND THE PART. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE PART WOULD BE AVAILABLE IN OCTOBER OF 2017. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO PROGRAM THE CRUISE CONTROL. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V332000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL) ON AUGUST 18, 2018, BUT THE FAILURE WAS NOT CORRECTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 16,513. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V486000.
