Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 CHRYSLER 200. WHILE THE CONTACT'S WIFE WAS DRIVING UNKNOWN SPEEDS, THE DRIVER'S SIDE HEADREST EXPLODED WITHOUT WARNING OR IMPACT. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED HEAD INJURIES, WHICH DID NOT REQUIRE MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALER (MAC HAIK CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM, 95395 I-55 NORTH JACKSON, MS 39206, 601-208-0144) WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE DRIVER'S SIDE HEADREST NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 60,000.
