Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 DODGE JOURNEY. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE INSTRUMENT PANEL INDICATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS IN PARK. THE INDICATOR REMAINED ILLUMINATED FOR APPROXIMATELY 10 TO 15 MINUTES. THE VEHICLE ALSO SHIFTED OUT OF GEAR WITHOUT THE CONTACT BEING IN THE DRIVER'S SEAT. AN UNKNOWN DEALER DIAGNOSED THE VEHICLE AND INDICATED THAT THERE WERE NO FAILURE CODES TO PINPOINT THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE OCCURRED TEN OR MORE TIMES WITHIN A FEW WEEKS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,343. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. *TT CONSUMER STATED IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT SPEED YOU ARE GOING. VIN IS INVALID UPDATED 02/01/19*JB
