TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 BUICK VERANO. WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE, A GRINDING NOISE WAS PRESENT WHEN DEPRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DEMONTROND BUICK (14101 NORTH FREEWAY, HOUSTON, TX) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE BRAKE MECHANISM PIN FAILED AND CAUSED THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE BRAKE PAD TO WEAR EXCESSIVELY AND UNEVENLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 119,000.
