Consumer Description

WHILE BRAKING AT A STOP LIGHT, THE BRAKE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR AND I LOST ANTI-LOCK FUNCTION AND HAD TO PRESS HARD ON THE PEDAL TO STOP. THE PROBLEM PERSISTED FOR A DAY OR TWO, THEN WENT BACK TO NORMAL. AFTER ABOUT A WEEK, THE SAME PROBLEM OCCURRED. AFTER RESEARCHING THIS ISSUE, I FOUND NUMEROUS CARS HAD THE SAME PROBLEM, YET IT SEEMS HYUNDAI REFUSES TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. THERE IS A RECALL NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 13V489000, HOWEVER WHEN I RUN MY VIN #, NO RECALLS ARE LISTED. MY CAR IS A 2012 HYUNDAI GENESIS.
