Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 FORD FUSION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE GEAR SHIFTER REMAINED STUCK IN NEUTRAL WHEN SHIFTING FROM THE PARK POSITION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT ABLE TO SHIFT BACK INTO PARK AND THE EMERGENCY BRAKE WAS ACTIVATED IN ORDER FOR THE VEHICLE NOT TO ROLL AWAY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DRIVABLE DUE TO THE FAILURE. THE DEALER CRONIN FORD (10700 NEW HAVEN RD, HARRISON, OH 45030, 1-(513) 367-5300) HOWEVER THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V471000 (POWER TRAIN). A LOANER VEHICLE WAS NOT PROVIDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 95,000. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
