Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 JEEP COMPASS. WHILE PARKING, THE VEHICLE WAS SHIFTED INTO REVERSE; HOWEVER, INSTEAD OF TRAVELING BACKWARDS, THE VEHICLE WENT FORWARD. AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE STRUCK A PARKED VEHICLE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS AWAITING DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE OF THE FAILURE. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 46,000. THE VIN WAS NOT PROVIDED. *TT CONTACT STATES THIS IS THE SECOND OCCURENCE. *TT
