TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD FUSION. AFTER REFUELING AT A FUEL STATION, THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED AND THE STEERING WHEEL SEIZED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE RACK AND PINION FAILED. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 125,000. *TT CONTACT STATES VEHICLE WAS TAKEN RANDY MARION FORD IN STATESVILLE, NC. *TT
