Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 TOYOTA CAMRY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DASHBOARD WAS MELTING AND HAD A STICKY RESIDUE ON THE SURFACE. WHILE DRIVING, THE GLARE OF THE SUN OFF THE DASHBOARD MADE IT DIFFICULT TO CLEARLY SEE THE ROAD. THE DEALER (LUSTINE TOYOTA, 14227 JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY, WOODBRIDGE, VA 22191, (703) 494-1800) INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE FAILURE WAS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH TOYOTA. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE EXTENDED WARRANTY HAD EXPIRED FOR THE REPAIR. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 154,000.
