Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HYUNDAI SONATA. THE CONTACT HEARD AN ABNORMAL NOISE AND, UPON ACCELERATION, THE VEHICLE STALLED MORE THAN ONCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V568000 (ENGINE). THE DEALER (INTERSTATE HYUNDAI, 609 CONSTITUTION DR., WEST MONROE, LA 71292, (318) 387-2667) WAS CONTACTED BECAUSE THE FAILURE PREVENTED THE VEHICLE FROM STARTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND INDICATED THAT THE VEHICLE NEEDED TO BE TOWED TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
