TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 VOLKSWAGEN ROUTAN. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH THE CONTACT NOTICED THE TRANSMISSION WAS STUCK IN THIRD GEAR. THE DEALER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THIS FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO ASSIST. THE VIN SEARCH REVELED NO RECALLS. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN DIAGNOSED REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000.
