Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 GMC SIERRA 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT BODY SHOP TO HAVE SOME DAMAGES REPAIRED. THE CONTACT WAS ADVISED THAT THE FRAME UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE WAS RUSTED. THE DEALER (ANCHOR BUICK GMC, 1 AUTOMOTIVE BLVD, ELKTON, MD 2192) WAS CONTACTED AND STATED THAT THERE WAS A TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN FOR THE FAILURE; HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE WAS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY DUE TO HIGH MILEAGE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY FOR THE TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN DUE TO THE HIGH MILEAGE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 85,821.
