Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD FUSION HYBRID. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE STEERING WHEEL SEIZED WHILE BEING OPERATED AT VARIOUS SPEEDS. THE POWER STEERING FAULT WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. FRED BEANS FORD OF BOYERTOWN (525 PA-100, BECHTELSVILLE, PA) WAS CONTACTED, BUT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DIAGNOSED. THE STEERING GEAR ASSEMBLY WAS REPLACED AT THE SAME DEALER APPROXIMATELY THREE TIMES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 98,000.
