Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 HYUNDAI SANTA FE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE LOST ACCELERATION WHILE MAKING A LEFT TURN. THE CONTACT CONTINUALLY DEPRESSED THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, BUT THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT ACCELERATE FORWARD. IN ADDITION, THE TRACTION CONTROL INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. DEALER MADE SOFTWARE UPDATE ON 4/2/2018 AND CONTACT HAS HAD NO ISSUES SINCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,100. *TT
