Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 HONDA CR-V. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE PASSENGER SIDE DOOR LATCHES FUNCTIONED INDEPENDENTLY AND UNLOCKED THE DOORS EVEN AFTER BEING MANUALLY LOCKED. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SUSSMAN HONDA (1543 EASTON RD, ABINGTON, PA 19001), BUT THE TECHNICIAN REFUSED TO PERFORM THE REPAIR PER THE HONDA EXTENDED WARRANTY DUE TO THE STIPULATION THAT ONLY THE DRIVER'S SIDE LOCK WAS COVERED AND DUE TO THE AGE OF THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 101,657. *TT
