The contact took the vehicle back to another independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed with needing the front passenger’s side door actuator to be realigned. The vehicle was repaired but continued to experience the failure. The contact took the vehicle back to another independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed with needing the front passenger’s side door actuator and the front passenger’s side door latch to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 64,217.
