Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 BMW 328I. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH IN THE DARK, THE HEADLIGHTS INTERMITTENTLY ILLUMINATED. ALSO, THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. UPON OPENING THE TRUNK, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE TRUNK LIGHT WAS BURNED OUT AND A STRONG BURNING ODOR WAS PRESENT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V676000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 108,237.
