Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 JEEP COMPASS. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE TIRE MADE A LOUD GRINDING NOISE. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED PRIOR TO THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER AND HAD IT TOWED TO WESTBORN CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (23300 MICHIGAN AVE, DEARBORN, MI 48124, (877) 295-7806). THE CONTACT WAS ADVISED THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS ON THE VEHICLE AND THERE WAS A DEALER BULLETIN FOR THE SWAY BAR AND THE CROSSPINS, WHICH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 200,000.
