Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 MERCEDES-BENZ E350. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE "REDUCE BRAKING POWER" WARNING MESSAGE DISPLAYED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SENTRO SONIC BRAKE CONTROL UNIT FAILED. IN ADDITION, THE FUEL TANK UNDER THE DRIVER'S SEAT FRACTURED AND SPILLED FUEL IN THE VEHICLE. CENTENNIAL IMPORTS IN PENSACOLA, FLORIDA WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND DIAGNOSED THAT THE SENTRO SONIC BRAKE CONTROL UNIT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 104,000.
