Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 FORD FUSION. WHILE DRIVING 10 MPH, THE POWER STEERING SEIZED WITHOUT WARNING AND "STEERING LOSS, STOP SAFELY" APPEARED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE CONTACT ENGAGED THE REVERSE GEAR TO CORRECT THE FAILURE AND PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. CELLA FORD IN NEWBERN, NORTH CAROLINA WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS UNDER RECALL, BUT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 70,000.
