Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 NISSAN ALTIMA. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO STOP THE VEHICLE, IT SURGED FORWARD AND THE ENGINE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO RESTART AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A LOCAL DEALER (SUPERIOR NISSAN OF CONWAY, 1090 COLLIER DRIVE, CONWAY, AR 72032), BUT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS BEING INVESTIGATED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 41,000. *TT CONSUMER STATED SUPERIOR NISSAN DEALERSHIP IN CONWAY, ARKANSAS INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND COULD NOT GET IT TI TURN OFF. THEY SAID IT WAS SAFE, WE TRADED IN. UPDATED 8/28/18*JB
