Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD EDGE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DOOR AJAR WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND DRAINED THE BATTERY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MEDVED FORD (1404 S WILCOX ST, CASTLE ROCK, CO 80104, (303) 688-3137) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE REAR DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR WAS FAULTY AND THE DOOR LATCH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR LATCH WAS PREVIOUSLY REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT NO RECALL WAS ASSOCIATED WITH THE VIN. NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 110,000. *TT UPDATED 8/20/18*JB
