TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD EDGE. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO PARK THE VEHICLE, THE "TRANSMISSION NOT IN PARK" WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL DEALER (BEYERS FORD LOCATED AT 170 RIDGEDALE AVE MORRISTOWN, NJ 07960) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE SHIFTER ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 62,788. UPDATED 10/05/17*LJ *TR
